HELP!!!Question on Chap18 Database update
Hi all, a question from a new starter:
I import the northwind database, but how to import the prime key and foreign key? 'cause I couldn't get a relationship graph like Fig18-10.
I also couldn't update the database, error like the following:
an unprocessed "System.InvalidOperationException" occured in system.data.dll.
Other information: when transport DataRow set with revised rows, update need a valid UpdateCommand¡£
Thanks.

How did u import DB & from where?! I guess u selected Copy Tables instead of Copy Objects if u r talking about MS-SQL Server?!
Update error might be bc of that missing Primary-keys & Foreign-Keys.
Keep in touch.
Always:),
Hovik Melkomian.

Hi, thanks for reply.
actually I was just following the book appendix B, imported the database "nwind" exactly step by step as the book says.
Yes, I copied tables instead of object, but there is no option to copy object. (the option cannot be clicked on)
The database "nwind" is in ACCESS.
Where r u?:)
