Default VCS 2005

Hi,
I am new to programming also new to VC#. I've bought the book Beginning VC# (.net 1.0). My question is (is this book beneficial for me to use with VC# 2003 and especially with VC# 2005.

u r learning C# & the dates r for Visual Studio not for C#.
the versions of VS wont make many sence for u as a begginer.
