Default Introduction

Hello all, my name is Grant Robertson and I have recently started reading this book. I am working on an XML standard for educational material. I will keep my questions here directly related to the wording of specific topics within the book. Most of this book is excellent but there are a few paragraphs that don't seem to be worded as clearly as they could be. Hopefully, my questions will help the authors improve their book for the next edition. As I have been reading for a while and only just now found this forum, expect a flurry of posts for a little while. Thanks
