Default First Posting - Savings in first 20 pages.

Just received my copy yesterday. Started reading about an hour ago, and already found stuff to change my work habits in the first 20 pages.

I have always put combo boxes in my tables, but now see the wisdom of doing it on forms instead. Looking forward to the rest of the book.

I had the pleasure of testing some beta code that Helen was working on a few years ago, making an mini Time Tracking/Invoice application in Outlook. I already have her book on Object Models, and bought this before any reviews were available. I have no doubt it will pay for itself again the next 20 pages.

Thanks for your great works Helen.

I'm glad you are finding my new book useful.

If you haven't done so already, you might want to download the new version of my Time & Expense Billing app, which now has separate sets of files for Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003.

It can be downloaded from the Code Samples page of my Web site (it is Code Sample #29) at http://www.helenfeddema.com/Downloads.htm

(For anyone else who is interested, this freeware application uses Outlook and Word to record time and expenses and bill them to clients.)
