So Far So Good
Helen,
So far, your book is great. Like Bob Hanson, I'll switch to not using combo boxes in tables. I've run into both problems and now know how to solve them. Finally, I've understood the many-to-many relationship concept. This is the first time that it has sunk in. The relationship image made all the difference.
I do have one request. Could you ask the Wrox folks to put the size of the zip files on the download page? After three and half hours of downloading and 35 MB of data, there was nothing. I have no idea if there was more to go, it got stuck in a loop, or what. That is the joy of downloading at 26.4 kbps. I will get the files in a couple of days since my connection at work is high speed.
The book is just at the right level.

I have downloaded the files and have these file sizes:
Part1 = 85Mb
Part2 = 29Mb
Part3 = 5Mb
Don't recall the time, but I do have high speed connection. Had trouble with Part1 using HTTP as source, switched to FTP source to finally get the file.

Thanks Bob. Sorry about the incorrect spelling, we deal a lot with Hanson's with an "o" and I didn't stop to check.
Very much appreciate the numbers, since they mean taking two 100 MB zip disks instead of one to work. The first download would take some 8 to 9 hours at home and just isn't very feasible. At work, it's a T-1 line, so the downloads won't take long at all and they'll be needed there anyway.
I'm just glad Helen wrote the book. It is hard reading application development books that differ a lot from the programming styles in Woody's Watch. My brain keeps going, "But, this isn't how the folks I respect and count on to help do it."

Thank you, Sue, I've passed your feedback on disclosing file sizes to the Wrox.com team.

Thank you. Most people reading your book should have a faster connection, but it will be nice to have them in more manageable chunks. Downloading at work is 60 times faster, so I'll stick with that option.
