Default What about CMR ?

I wonder why the authors never value the existence of Container Managed Relations (CMR) which was added to EJB specification since EJB 2.0.
Are there experiences in using CMR, especially if you have to manage multi level relations?
Is it a step forward towards OO design within the use of EJBs?

Thanks!
