Default Skipping contents on managed C++

Hi,
I just bought this book and it should arrive on October 22. I've got one question before I start reading it. If I understand correctly this book has topic about C++ and managed C++. Is it safe to skip parts on managed C++ because I'm interested only in ISO/IEC C++?

You can skip parts on managed C++ and read the parts on ISO/IEC C++ and MFC only. It' perhaps wise to do so as the mixture of native C++ and MFC with managed C++ or C++/CLI is quite confusing !
