Default Chapter 15, Toolbar buttons

Hello,

When I am working with toolbar buttons for the Sketcher projet, there are some issues that I do not understand. I attach images here for convenience.

1. I followed the steps explained in the book to add the element and the color buttons, first in order : Line - Circle - Curve - Rectangle; Black - Red - Green - Blue. After having built the projet, I do not obtain separators between different groups of buttons (Element & Color) on the toolbar, the interface of the program is shown in the 2nd attached image.

Note that there was always a gap between these two groups when I designed the buttons in the resource.

2. I swap the positions of the element and the color buttons to see if there will be any effect (see image 1). With the toolbar designed as shown in the image 1, I rebuild the projet. The result, however, does not change: the buttons appear on the toolbar are not changed their position (always like in the image 2).

So, my questions are:
* How to make separators between new groups of toolbar buttons?
* Why is the position of the buttons not affected even though the design in the resource has been changed?

Please give me some explanations. Thank you!

tqu

Default Toolbar Separator

I had the exact same problem. I am running VS2010ProC++ with latest SP.

But look ahead to the screenshots in the book on pages 954, 991, and 1013. Looks like they are also missing the separators.

Maybe need to post on MSDN.
