Default Add Member Variable Wizard Parts Disabled

Happy New Year!

I'm in Chapter 8 working on Ex8_11 going through the exercise of adding member variables to the class CBox by using the Add Member Variable Wizard. The wizard functions fine for the purpose of the exercise; however, all fields to the right (ex Min Value, Max Value etc.) are greyed out when I add a variable.

Horton mentions in the text that I should be able to modify these values. Has anyone else come upon this problem? Better yet, anyone have the solution?

I'm running the Academic version so I should have full-up Professional functionality. I know that in the Express version, you can't even access this wizard. That is definitely not the problem. The problem in that the wizard has some of the fields disabled.

Thanks,
Bradshaw
