Get the following errors using 2010 Visual Professional - Charactor set -Not set -checked with Microsoft on the link error LNNK1120 added to LIBRARY additional /LIBPATH:dir this did not fix! Microsoft also says old stuff not supporting? going to move on but if you have any ideas send help.... thanks

Why would you want to build an empty project? Add some functionality to your project and providing you have written valid code it should compile without problems!
