Hello!

When trying to follow Yakov in his screencast to start mq using the command ./imqbrokerd -port 7677 I get the following error message:

ERROR [B3276]: Starting a GlassFish-managed broker directly using imqbrokerd is not allowed

Googling this error message did not provide many clues, so I would be grateful for any help.

It seems I solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the Glassfish bundle. imqbrokerd now works as expected. Obviously my initial installation was flawed in some way; not that I could spot any difference when reinstalling. The documentation didn't offer any help. Not knowing the cause of the problem is frustrating.

From out of the blue, the original problem is now back:

It seems one has to reinstall the Glassfish bundle each time I want to run the application using MQ. Not a very efficient solution. I would appreciate any help on this matter.

If the GlassFish server is running, you can't start imqbroker form a command window because GlassFish starts its own Open MQ broker.
