Default Lesson 4 - Try It

Hi All,

Can anyone help me diagnose why both of the Try Its in Lesson 4 are not working? Prior "Try Its work", so I think it may be Internet options that are not set correctly.

When I execute the html, I get a blank page, but no Alerts. I also downloaded the sample code and tried to execute it and the Alerts did not work either.

Howdy, Brookesmith.

I tested the code download, and they do work. So the first thing to check is your settings. What browser and OS are you using?

Hi Ya,
I appreciate that you took the time to respond to my thread. After I posted my thread, I decided to do a little research on my own and found a short blurb on the internet about javascript and making sure it was completely enabled. I followed the instructions and good news!!, the try it examples appear to be working now. As I stated in my earlier post, some samples worked and some didn't and I was ready to pull my hair out.
Thanks Again ...Brooke BTW: Love the book ,,,,
