I have followed all the lessons and so far all of them have worked, but I am having some trouble with Lesson 20, I have followed it to the letter but for some reason the package is failing immeadiately on the LKP - Product Name, the progress shows several errors including the 'The cache is not initialized and cannot be read by component "LKP - Product Name" (113). And then [LKP - Product Name [113] Error: Failed to prepare the cache for providing data. At the very end I get Task DF - Aggregate Data Failed.

Not sure what to do to fix it, and get it working. Any help appreciated.

This is the Lesson that has you change a package you created way back in Lesson 18, I believe.

Most importantly, did everything run fine for all the previous lessons?

If you open the Data Flow for Cache Product Table and right click on the stage > Execute does that Data Flow complete?

In your LKP - Product Name, make sure you have it set to Cache Connection Manager and not OLE DB.

If all else fails, download this package and open it side by side with your package. Check each element and make sure they match exactly.
