Default How to protect the password information in the configuration?

Hi,

I have successfully get the framework up and running on my server. It is really a good idea. But it bothers me that I have to keep the password information in the XML configuration file and as well as the SSIS Configurations table. Is there a way that I can hide the password in the connection strings?

Thanks!

Hu

Hi Hu,

I'm afraid that there is currently no encrypt option. You can see this forum thread for some alternatives: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Foru...aspx#bm1045927

Good luck!
Jessica
