I've been following the book through chapter 2 and came the the section "Template Package". It reads "You will need to develop then install your template package for your fellow developers to use." Then it goes on to say "Follow the configuration design exactly...." I'm confused because up to this point I thought this was the template package we were developing, having set all the variables, stored procs, etc. Since it appears what we've built up to this point is not the template package, how does the 'template package' use what we've built so far and what is the purpost of what we constructed up to this point?

Hi Jeff,

The framework consists of multiple pieces: the stored procedures/tables, configuration entries, and the template package. The template package is to be modified for your environment (hence the instructions on adding variables and connection managers). The configuration entries and stored procedures should be implemented as described in the chapter to ensure the framework runs correctly.

Reading through the overview section in the "Design" section again may help clarify!
