Chapter 20 mysqli connection error- ignore, problem solved

I cannot connect to the database using the connection test code on page 264 using lesson20b.php. I moved the file to my htdocs file. I keep getting No such file or directory when I run the php code. I have the user php24sql setup as it is in the book. :(
