I get a "Syntax error" somewhere in a javascript array literal declaration, whenever I include zxml.js. I delete the line including zxml.js, no error (except when I try to use zxml.js).
It's impossible to tell what your problem may be without more information. Are you running an example from the book or is this something else? Do you have the most recent version of zXml? (available at http://www.nczonline.net/downloads/).
In the future, try to include as much information as possible so that we can try to help you.
