Where are these variables coming from?

the first time i come across them are on page 221 in the lines:

String task = cursor.getString(TASK_COLUMN);
long created = cursor.getLong(CREATION_DATE_COLUMN);

and the error is that these variables are not defines
i'm using the base 1.0 operating system

please help

if you look at the source code, you'll see that Reto used this instead:

String task = cursor.getString(cursor.getColumnIndex(KEY_TASK));
long created = cursor.getLong(cursor.getColumnIndex(KEY_CREATION_ DATE));
