I started programming in BASIC in 1977, at age 12. I have taught myself (with the help of those around me, but very little professional instruction, other than to get certs)
VB, VBA, C, HTML, C++, DBase, MS SQL, (connecting to and creating queries for) Oracle...so, I am not new to programming.
But, for the past 18 months, I have wanted to get into Android development for fun and profit. But, I feel like a 3' tall kindergardner opening the 9' school door on the first day of school, and only an hour late...so I know there are others out there, but I feel alone on my step into this pursuit of knowledge.
I found this place from the book Professional Android 2 Application Development. Is this a good book to use as an intro to Android Development?
