I just got my copy of this book.. but I've heard there gonna be a new version on march.
If I want to develop in Android 2.1 - What chapters are relevant in the book? which should I skip? ect'...

Don't get this book if you're just starting out.

Really.

Go and get a Java book (like Sams Teach Yourself Java in 24 Hours) to get the basic understanding of Java, and then look into Hello, Android. If only one book, then definitely Hello, Android, as it's more relevant than this particular book (as it's targeted at Android 1.5/1.6, vice 1.0).

Even with the better understanding I got from the other two books, I still can't quite iron out ALL of the problematic code.
