Hi,

I am facing a problem with the example "To Do List" in Chapter 2.
I have no errors in the code but when I execute the application, I see only the EditText with label " New To Do Items". Clicking on it , nothing happens. I have the same behaviour in case I import the project directly from

So I am pretty sure that the code is ok.

Any idea?

I see that deleting "if (keyCode == KeyEvent.KEYCODE_DPAD_CENTER) ", the application works fine.

Anybody knows the reason?

Check your Android Virtual Device settings - though by default the AVD has the DPad support.
