Best OS to use for this book?

I can't get past page 5 right now. I installed Oracle Virtual Box and Lubuntu and can't get the npm installs to work.

Ok - so if you're using Ubuntu - don't rely on "sudo apt-get install nodejs". Download nodejs and make it.
