Professional ASP.NET 3.5 in C# and VB

The sample code listing 20-40 AJAX TabContainer control works but the bottom half of the tab labels appear hidden upon execution. The various settings in the TabContainer property does not seem to affect the appearance of the tablabel except to make it bold. Any helpful tip would be very much appreciated.
