hello, i want to ask, i want to start developing on SharePoint 2010, and i want to be good in ASP first as soon as possible, but seems there are many materials to read, i have read the book of beginning ASP.net 4 in C# and VB.net by Imar.

I want to ask do i need to read the professional book too? or is it enough for me what i already did? thanks a lot.

With a basic knowledge of ASP.Net, I would recommend you move on to reading some book that deal directly with Sharepoint. If while reading those books you feel like you need more ASP.Net, then I would pickup this book.

You can probably start with the:

Beginning SharePoint 2010 Development

then move on to the

Professional SharePoint 2010 Development

Assuming that you are interested in the 2010 edition; otherwise I believe Wrox also has 2007 editions of the same books.
