Default Problem with to find Peers

Hi All,

I am using wrox book name Professional C# 4.0 and .Net 4 and have followed the example given in the chapter 45 Peer-to-Peer Networking to create the peer to peer application.

Downloaded the code from the wrox site to implemented in the application, good all works well on the wireless network at my home and in the office. I can find the peers and other peers can find me.

But when I goto University campus and there we have wireless network called eurodrom.

There When I try to find the peers, application not able to find the peers.

We are running the application on the two laptops one is vista and other is windows 7.

Could someone tell me what is the problem what I have to do to work at University campus.

It is very important for me to make it work at University to give the presentation of the application.

If you need the code then I can provide the code to get the idea.

Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

Hi Nelly,

Not sure but it sounds like a network issue to me. My guess is that the network doesn't allow traffic to and from the ports that your application is using.

Cheers,

Imar
