Default ASP.NET4:Chp 9, Pg 324, Item 3

This is a basic question which has me completely baffled. I created a file "ContactForm.txt" in the App_Date folder. The next step is to open the code behind of the ContactForm.ascx user control and import namespaces. I cannot locate or determine how to access the file ContactForm.ascx or determine if the file has been created. The file is not available in the source code for reference. How does one access this file labeled ContactForm.ascx? Thank you in advance for any assistance or guidance.

Hi there,

Are you sure you posted this in the correct forum? Sounds like you're talking about the Beginning book, not the Pro book.

For the Beginning book, the ContactForm *is* iincluded in the downloads for the book. You'll find it in the Controls folder. You find instructions on page 301, step 1 for creating this control in your own Planet Wrox site.

Cheers,

Imar
