Default Nerd Dinner Help - Page 32

I'm a longtime LAMP developer using ASP.NET MVC2 / Visual Studio 2010 for the first time. I've been able to follow the tutorial exactly until page 32. This step stumps me -- "Create a new RSVP object and add it to a Dinner's RSVP collection"

How do you create and associate such an object/collection in the Visual Studio setup thus described in the book? The pdf provides the snippet, but doesn't give directions on where to put it. Please help!
