Newbie Need Help

Hi,
i am a newbie to C#, but i think i chose the wrong book. in face of such a deep book, i don't know how to get used to it and where should i learn .

i just want to study this for fun and develop some programs for windows 8. can anyone tell me which chapter should i study......
