Hi rlangton,
in my VisualStudio, MonoCross.Utilities.MD is marked as unavailible. The code compiles and runs on Android.
Can't remember what I've done to fix the problem, but you could try to simple exclude the project from the solution (it seems there's nothing in it which is really required).
