Default putting it another way

All I want to do is assign a text property at run-time to a text object or a field object in the page header of my crystal report. Anyone know the syntax for doing this?

  Dim txtObj1 As TextObject
  txtObj1 = myReport.ReportDefinition.ReportObjects("txtPI")
  txtObj1.Text = Session("pi")
