When i try to open crystal reports a dialog opens and prompts me for the Server name, Database, Login ID and Password. The problem is I never put a password on my access database. I don't know what the login is and its not on a server. I try to pass a "" into password field and LoginID but it does not want to open my report.

PLZ HELP OUT

Which database you are using? If its SQL Server, then you will have to use a password.

Try formatting your connection string like this:
DataBasePath:'Jet OLEDB:Global Partial Bulk Ops=2;Jet OLEDB:Registry Path=;Jet OLEDB:Database Locking Mode=1;Jet OLEDB:Database Password=;Data Source=CodeSafe.mdb;Password=;Jet OLEDB:Engine Type=5;Jet OLEDB:Global Bulk Transactions=1;Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Je t OLEDB:System database=;Jet OLEDB:SFP=False;Extended Properties=;Mode=Share Deny None;Jet OLEDB:New Database Password=;Jet OLEDB:Create System Database=False;Jet OLEDB:Don't Copy Locale on Compact=False;Jet OLEDB:Compact Without Replica Repair=False;User ID=Admin;Jet OLEDB:Encrypt Database=False'

I use this when connection to a database on a local machine.
