Default Trouble with Chapter 3

Hello, I know this is probably a really easy to fix problem, but I cannot figure out what is wrong. In chapter 3 of "Professional Crystal Reports for VS.NET, I am trying to run the program called "viewer_database", I have typed in the code and it compiles but I get "Login Failed Please try again". I think this has something to do with rights, but I know that sa has full rights. I tried to change the code (see page 94) to put a new userid and password, but when I ran the program - "sa" for the login and "" for the password was still there. It didn't put the new userid and password I put in the code. Has anyone else had this problem? I am pretty sure this is one of those stupid newbie mistakes. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
