Default IIS 7.5 File writing error

Hi.

IIS 7.5

I've been trying to allow a vb page to upload a jpg, but I am getting the error
Access to the path 'E:\......" is denied

I have tried setting permissions for the application pool but I must be doing something wrong as the error continues.

Can anyone point me to an online guide to setting permissions directly using IIS Manager etc.

Thanks

R
