Default Question about the book

Hello,

I need to get up to speed fairly quick with IIS 8 running on Server 2012. At some point I will want to go back and learn IIS 8 in depth.

But for right now I want to understand very simply how to put sites up in both the local environment for testing, and also remotely for the public facing operation.

While I have a good technical background in both hardware and software, setting up websites is not an area I've ever worked with. I have recently learned how to create sites using ASP.NET. I now need to move the site into use.

My question: Is this book versatile enough for me to buy now to quickly learn how to put up a site without getting too deep into the whole system?

Thanks.

Also, how often is this forum reviewed to answer questions? Does someone associated with the book get notices when posts are made?

Best Regards,
Alan
