Default Worker Threads

Hello,

I am currently working through the ccr example from chapter 2, I have just noticed that even with the service attribute specifying the number of threads commented out I am still getting 5 working threads (With a dual core processor). I am just wondering if there is something else I may have inadvertently changed which could have caused the number of working threads to be 5.

Thanks

This seems strange. I ran the examples on a dual-core processor and only got two threads. The default is two anyway.

Are you using MRDS 1.5 or the CTP of V2.0?

I am using MRDS 1.5.

I ended up closing Visual Studio and reopening and that seemed to solve the problem, I am assuming the problem was created by myself, however I have no clue why or how it was happening.

Thanks for the quick response, and great work on this book, it is extremely helpful!

Hello,

I had the same problem initially. I double checked that I commented out the lines, recompiled the code again, and then it worked.

Hmm. This is really strange. I have never seen this problem.

Anyway, thanks for reporting it.

Trevor
