There have been questions about using the April 2008 CTP of V2.0 of MRDS and I thought was best to create a new thread.

Let me first say that most of the code works on V2.0. However, migrating it from V1.5 is not something that I can recommend to a novice.

At this stage I suggest that you work with V1.5. You can install V1.5 and the CTP of V2.0 on the same computer with no problems, so just install V1.5 and then the book samples.

There will be another CTP of V2.0 soon, so there is not much point in building a package for the April version. (DssDeploy packages are version-specific). So we will aim to create a new package for the next CTP of V2.0.

I have created a ZIP file with the source code of the book samples so that you can install into the April 2008 CTP of V2.0 if you want to. It is available from here:

Please read the ReadMe.txt first.

Note that you have to migrate the code to V2.0 and build the services yourself. This is not difficult. See the instructions in the ReadMe.txt.
