Default Single User Mode

Following the instructions given on Page 603 of the book I have set the server to start in single user mode.

I stopped every other service and then tried to log into SQL Server 2012 with the sa user.

I received a dialog box telling me that the server was in single user mode and only one Administrator could log in at a time.

I am the only Administrator trying to log, so can anyone help over this problem, please?

I can't find an email address for the authors, as there often are in other Wrox books.
