Default Where is the Style Library?

I'm trying to work my way through the exercise that begins on page 230, but my site does not contain a Style Library (Step 2 under "Adding HTML Branding Assets). Any idea how I find it?

That is strange. I've just created a new site collection with a top site based on Blank Site template and there is a Style Library there. And MS says (here for instance) that "In SharePoint 2010, every site collection has its own Style Library".

Try to recreate your site collection.

Default That's the ticket

You are absolutely correct - I was not at the top-level site in SharePoint designer. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the difference between a site collection and a site. Thanks for the assist.
