chapter on Generics at page 260 suddenly has buttons for 'Equal'
and 'LinkedList' but no code in the download or in the book.
Furthermore running the code never displays the list. it always throws the exception.

any help?

I just got this book and downloaded the code. What I have runs in VS2008, but just like you I cannot find any reference to those extra buttons. Maybe one of the authors had developed it to that point, but only took the screen shot of it and never posted the code. It IS a long book, I expect mistakes like that (or worse) from time to time. I mean, What are you gonna do?
