Appendix Example

The code for the Appendix example in this book is not correct, and I sincerely apologize for that. I am working on this ASAP to get it corrected. Once it is correct and placed on the download site, I will repost here.

It has been almost 5 months since you reported that the sample code in the Appendix is incorrect. Do you have a fix?

I am pretty sure that was fixed. I will investigate immediately. I probably forgot to send it in. I will post back within 24 hours with the status of this. My sincerest apologies.

Hi everyone, after some searching I found that I failed to submit the correct code. So, I will do that. Give me a couple of days to test it and make sure it works (it has been a while...) and i'll get that up there as soon as I can.

I haven't forgotten about this. I just wanted to post real quick and say that I will be putting up the correct code next week. I sincerely apologize for the delay, but I am currently wrapping up a book for WROX on LINQ and that is taking up most, if not, all of my time. I will be done with the LINQ book the weekend so I will then turn to fixing this issue and get it up the first of next week. Again, I apologize for the delay.

OK, i know it has been longer than anticipated, but the LINQ book took longer to finish than expected. My sincerest apologies. I will spend this week looking at the issues with this chapter and chapter 6 and post them as soon as possible.

So it's been over a year now... come on Scott... I need a good *Working* example of a WCF with Callbacks and tcp or named pipe bindings...

yep...I feel like a total flake for not keeping my promise on the appendix example.

I am working on this example RIGHT NOW and will post here no later than Monday. This time I promise. And...I will think of some way to make it up to those of you who have been waiting on this example.
