Great book! read all and did the homework. However, I could not find in your book where to "insert" code functions on a static page. Let me explain myself with and example. for example, I installed the plugin "contact form 7". The instruction ask me to insert the following:

[contact-form 1 "Contact form 1"]

"Copy this code. Then, open the edit menu of the page (‘Pages’ > ‘Edit’) into which you wish to place the contact form. A popular practice is creating a page named “Contact” for the contact form page. Paste the code you copied into the contents of the page."

I could not find anywhere in your book how, why, or what purpose or best WP plugin practices to do this procedure. You never talked about how to insert your special plugin code onto/into a page/post. Did I miss something in your book? If so can you point out the section I need to re-read.

I really appreciate any feedback how to and how this works. Or provide me with somewhere to go and read how to perform this procedure. I need to use this for my plugin I am developing. I want to be sure I perform this procedure according to Plugin best practices....
