What I'm trying to accomplish is to have categories selected by the menu, where the first or top post that shows is sort of a homepage of that category.

That homepage would describe a category in detail.
Each subsequent post would follow in the normal last is first displayed.

The problem I'm having is that seems to cry out for a double loop and I've had no success in trying to implement. My thought is to make the homepage post that sticky. In your book, you elude to a feature content page.

I was wondering if someone could give me a shove in the right direction to figure this out.

I transitioned from a Drupal environment. I love this book. Learned more about WordPress in the two times that I read this book than in the 10 years that I've been working with Drupal. But the solution still eludes me.

Regards
Ron
