Try It

I worked on Lesson 1 thru 6 with no problem prior to the holidays.

In getting back into the textbook on Lesson 7, I worked on the Step-by-Step Try It section, and copied the SimpleEdit from Lesson 6, because I only perform the Try It sections in each lesson, and not the exercises.

So, when I go to modify each of the event handler with 'contentRichTextBox', I get the following error: "The name 'contentRichTextBox' does not exist in the current context'.

By copying and pasting from another lesson, do I need to adjust a path name, or is it something else?

Sorry about that. There were some changes to the code at the last minute and I think some of the code in the text doesn't exactly match the code available for download.

In this case, I suspect that the control called contentRichTextBox in the text is called something like rchContent in the program.

Use the Windows Form Designer to see what the name of the RichTextBox control is and use that wherever contentRichTextBox appears.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll dig into the problem more deeply.
