Default Chapter 2 Converting an Existing Page

I'm trying to follow the instructions in Chapter 2 - Converting an Existing Page to a Content Page. Step No 3 is very difficult to follow. After deleting what I think needs to be deleted it says, "as soon as you start typing, a drop-down list displays ...".
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be typing or where. And I don't get any drop down list when I try typing something. I'm not even sure if I deleted too much or not enough.

If someone knows what to delete perhaps you could send me what is left after the delete. And perhaps explain what and where to start typing.

Thanks,

NJ Jim
