Hi, when i try to grant the account ASPNET permission through windows explorer, i get an error message sayin name not found or Object named ASPNET cannot be found

Thanx for your reply. I am using windows xp sp 2. As the books says NETWORK SERVICES object is the next task after ASPNET which was done successfully, and as I tried to run sql queries to the database provided with this book it went fine. Does that mean I dont have to register ASPNET object?
