I regret there are no current plans for a new edition covering XSLT 3.0. Various reasons for this, the main ones being (a) the pressure on my time, (b) not many people buy books covering a new version of a mature technology, (c) a book covering XSLT 3.0 in the same format as the current book would be 2000 pages which isn't physically feasible, (d) people really want this kind of information online nowadays.
If I could solve (a) then I would do something that's electronic-only.
