active directory: problem with 1000 returns

hi!

i want to copy all users names from a active directory in the items list from a comboBox. That works great but i get only 1000 entries from the server. i read that there is a limit of 1000 from the server but i cant change it...
are there any intelligent solutions how i can fix this problem?
