Im totally new in this site. I got problem bellow when I am trying to connect SQL SERVER 2005

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

how can i resolve this problem

One tip: Be specific in the subject of your post. "Hi Everybody" doesn't at all describe the type of question you have, and makes it less likely that you will get a useful response.

You probabaly need to configure your Sql Server for remote access, if that is what you are trying to do. Search the internet - there is a lot on this subject out there... for example: http://www.datamasker.com/SSE2005_NetworkCfg.htm
