Default sql datetime type

hi expert
i have an application that works with SQL SERVER database
in my database and in one of the tables i have a column with DateTime type
i have two problems
1) when i save date to table ,sql server automatically save the time too ,but i wanna to save just date
2)how can i save the localize date to the SqlSERVER?in fact where can i save the date to Sql Server in hijriCalander or persiancalande form?

these are verry importand to me
please help
