I am trying to rewrite vb6 code that retreives then passes and XML file to another page. I am sorry but I haven't a clue were to start? Does ayone have an Idea where I should begin?
It should be simple enough but C# is new to me and I have been trying to read book/s but it only shows me how to get an xml document from application directory. I am trying to retreive it from user directory.

it doesn't even sound like an XML issue, you just need access to the user's directories. I found a page full of examples in two seconds at google. This should help...
